-Picked out Zelenka before the others, strangely enough, as he was pandering to McKay's ego WAY too much more than usual. Though the dehandestration sorta blew the whole case open.
-"Hello Chip".
-Hey, it's Lieutenant Commander Laurel Takashima! What HAS she been up to? At least since the last time when she was seen as the Chinese rep for the IOA, on SG1. Nice storyline for Woolsey as a result.

I think she was in "The Day After Tomorrow", other than that I don't know. Check IMDB.

Yeah, I clued in on Zelenka as well. Probably because of the pandering and noticing that he wasn't actually doing anything. I realized later that it reminded me somewhat of that ENT episode with Phlox and an imaginary T'Pol.
I didn't pick up on the Kolya(sp?) connection to the rest, though. But I *was* wondering how they would get around chopping off Sheppard's hand after this.

I must have missed this. What was it?
Ah, and Takashima! I was wondering where I've seen her before. Still being sneaky, I see.

I knew her better from a one-off appearance in the Highlander TV series, actually.
As for Chip, In a segment when Woolsey is giving the Chinese delegate the tour of the Atlantis command room, he introduces Chuck, the Canadian gate technician (who's been there from the beginning), as "Chip". Chuck tries to correct Woolsey on his name, and the latter just walks off, muttering "Thank you, Chet". Later on, Woolsey walks through command, asking Chuck something to the effect of "How's it going... You there."
I'm a little dismayed though that they've been giving so much screen time to Amelia, the other gate technician. She's only been around this year, but so far has dialed more addresses than chuck, and has also beaten up more people and is known to have taken kickboxing. Grr! Sexy as she is, we need more Chuck!

Ah, right!
Woolsey (to the IOA rep): Chet is on the night shift. Chuck (muttering): There is no Chet.

Yeah, he definitely said "Chet". I don't know where this "Chip" business comes from.
The thing that made me suspect Zelenka was when he twice said "we should be focusing on the data". It seemed an odd thing to repeat, almost verbatim, multiple scenes apart.

So did anyone else notice in next week's previews that we have Dave Foley and Bill Nye the Science Guy guest starring?

I don't think I can ever look at Dave Foley again after his introduction scene in Postal.
