Just wanted to know. Heard through the grapevine the show might be getting the axe soon.

I stopped watching a season and a half ago. I was over at a friend's house this week while it was on, though, and saw a bit of it. $ $ $ $ They've gone back to the events of the first season. Hiro's trying to save the girl he fell in love with from the cafe. The time line is pretty much completely out the window at this point as I'm pretty sure they changed everything that happened in season one last year anyway.

I quit paying attention to Heroes about a year ago, too. Got sick of women in refrigerators.

I'm liking this season much better than the last two. Although the Patented Lesbian Ratings Grab is wearing, but they haven't spent much time on it at all yet. (In fact, Claire is hardly getting any screen time at all.)

I'm still watching it, but mostly from inertia at this point, I think. I guess I sort of liked the "save Charlie" plot from the latest episode that Aban mentioned above, but, of course, they immediately went on to demonstrate the fact that nobody on the show can have nice things for more than a few minutes.

I'm still watching it. Infact I'm JUST about to watch this weeks episode. I can't say it's FANTASTIC. Infact after the BRILLIANCE of season 1 it's all pretty much disjointed crap. Ahh for a season like season 1 again. Oh well.

Indeed, I am also watching mostly on inertia. I don't think the show will ever recapture the awe, wonder, and surrealism of the 1st season. Guess is was just a case of lightning in a bottle. But then again, I've developed a routine with this show I can't break.

I didn't even know that the new season was around. I watched upto the end of the last season with the whole switcheroo thing, but after that I'm not sure I'll bother.

Saving the cafe girl?
Well *that* was overdue. Between that gratuitous death and the obnoxious marketing for the show ("all the secrets will be revealed next week!" every week gets old), my brief flirtation with the show ended quickly. Maybe if they'd tried to save her in, oh, the very next episode of the first season, I might've stuck around.

Well they've already shoved her back in the fridge, so it's hardly a step in the right direction. For a minute there I thought they were going to pull a Dallas and reset everything from season one onwards. That actually mightn't have been so bad, come to think of it.
On the up side at least now we know why Mohinder stopped narrating the show. Nothing against the character, but his story has long since run it's course.

I liked it, but suddenly now I'm tired of the 'fix the past' plot. I want to move forward, I don't want to keep looping over Season 1.

I think it's cause they realise that season 1 was the best season and they want to recapture some of its magic, but they are in danger of undoing what they did!
I want to see Future-Hiro with the Clit-tickler where he can speak great English and has his sword again and see where he nearly destroyed the universe. Maybe this is what we are finally seeing??

I think he's referring to Future-Hiro's regrettable choice of facial hair.

OK $$$$$SPOILERS$$$$$
For the Next episode
Episode 11.
Did Sylar go back into his body or not?? Did Hiro really put Mohindar in a Psych Ward? Where is Charlie? Clare doesn't feel pain now at ALL? Did Peter just get Nathan's flying ability or ALL of Sylar's abilities?
He should have just drained him of life then and there!
NOTHING really happens in these episodes anymore does it? Not like Season one which was tight and had stuff going on all over the place.

Peter ability to emulate the abilities of others has been limited. He can now only hold one power at a time, so I assume he only took Syler/Nathan ability to fly. Though I wonder where Sylar got the ability to fly in the first place. I guess Parkman somehow transferred the ability to him in addition to Nathan's memories? And I assume Sylar's consciousness has indeed reunited with his body, since twice we see Nathan do an evil stare toward the camera.

He stole it from Nathan at the end of season 3.

But how? He slit Nathan's throat, but I don't think he did the patented Sylar remove-brain-from-head-to-acquire-ability move. I guess this would count as the second time he acquired a power without killing someone(or in Nathan's case, taking his ability wasn't the prime reason why Sylar killed him.)

Yeah they were cagey about it - they went off screen (out the window) and then Sylar flew back in. Was kinda stupid.
