Interesting. Hope it works.
Also talk of SG1 movie being filmed: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/cult/news/a246537/sgu-for-atlantis-crossover.html

Rush makes McKay look like he has people skills. I can only imagine what'll happen when McKay and Rush get together... With Eli and Sheppard on the side cracking geeky scifi jokes.

I've just started rewatching the entire franchise in prep for SGU season one's release to DVD. Hopefully by the time I get to the end of SGA, it'll be out.
I had heard that an SGA movie was in the works, but not that it *pre*dated the series finale... huh?! Why try to cram something else in before the finale? Why not make it about a return to Pegasus. You know... so people wouldn't have to be life-sucked anymore... and Ford could wear normal sunglasses again... and Teyla could see her child again... little loose ends like those beg to be tied up.

I think the article confuses things regarding the Atlantis movie... everything I'd heard says that the movie comes AFTER the finale. (And they do use the word "proceed" even if they use it as if they meant "precede".)

From what I can suss out... there will be no SGA movie - with economic down turn etc. There is definitely a SG1 movie and it deals with the events directly after the SGA series finale. So maybe instead it will now be a combined SG1/SGA movie.

You mean another SG-1 movie? I hadn't heard about that. I did hear that the SGA movie was postponed indefinitely because of MGM taking a financial hit.

From what I heard the SGA movie was still on the table, but the SG-1 had been canned, given economics and that they tore down the SGC to build SGU sets.
