Not in that order, but I finished the Dark Tide series first then Vector Prime. First, did I miss something with the illness Mara Jade has? Was it mentioned elsewhere in some other book? (the only major EU I've not read yet is the Academy books). Second, anyone else feel Star Wars is getting too dark from what it used to be? It's still good IMO but growing much too dark. Third, I have Hero's Trial now and have started reading it. Anyone finished it yet?

Since no one's replied, I'll post about Hero's Trial.
It was lighter at least. It's still going down that dark avenue of dark grittiness but it's at least improving more.
