I cut around the complex line using a razor-saw, then used a rotary tool (Dremel) to grind down the part of the raised solar panel outside the triangle. This revealed the gray plastic underneath. I did a little hand-sanding to get everything nice and smooth, and just painted the raised rough edge of the solar panel a gloss black.<P>At least, I'm pretty sure that's all I did - the toy is away in storage at the moment.
