This book kicks ass! It has all the alien species you have ever wondered about.

I read the whole thing at our local OnCue bookstore

Yeah, all those "guide" books are nice to look through, but not worth the 15-20 dollars.

Maybe, next time, you could also buy a grammar or spelling book, too

I wish they'd make a few for Star Trek......

Well, the difference is, we know a lot about all the different races - well at least know their names - from watching the episodes/movies alone...
Things like the Twi'leks... you wouldn't know their names from JUST watching the movies...
I read over at the official site that we'd be seeing a purple and orange Twi'lek in episode II.

What, are they going to be showing us a "rainbow" coloured one next with all the colours imaginable swirled through them?

BTW, were those aliens seen in the Ep I Senate (on the far right, three of them in one 'boat') the same as the famous E.T ("phone home!")? They looked remarkably similar.

Yep - go to the official site - where they mention about the purple and orange Twi'leks... supposedly there is a Bib Fortuna type... but not Bib of course (I guess that must be the male version).
It also says he has two females - to show off his status... or something.

yeah, i picked up a few of those guide books. I always thought that the proton torps looked like the way the had em in TIE Fighter. Till i saw them in the book, i went throught the end of the first movie in slow-mo to see. I like em better in Tie fighter.
