Wait a minute, Snay. First of all, movies don't come out on Thursday, especially not big ones. It's always Wednesday or Friday. Ep.1 was a Wednesday. Second, I was told it was May 20-something that was the release date. IMDb reports May 22...[ November 14, 2001: Message edited by: Veers ]

Lucas must have flipped or something. Or Variety has.

Here, it's become very common for films to have advance preview screenings on the Thursday - so commonplace in fact, that big films now have special advance screenings the week before. In effect, the actual release day becomes the Thursday. . . Also, didn't ID4 come out on a different day so it could be released on July 4?

I'm pretty sure it came out on a Friday. That might've been the 3rd ... also could've been the 2nd, I just don't remember ... sorry!

Checked IMDb. It came out on Friday, July 3rd, 1996. And since my local paper had the May 16 date in it, I guess it's true. Althought it did say that a Thursday release was rare.[ November 15, 2001: Message edited by: Veers ]

Oh, and I just saw an interview with Jackson where he sys he has a purple lightsabre. If there's one in that clip (I can't remember) then it's him.

I've now watched all 4."Choices" is shit. "Breathing" is quietly cool. "Forbidden Love" is the most interesting. "Mystery" is the most exciting. I don't think it's Mace in the clips. I think Anakin's fighting Count Duckula, or whatever Christopher Lee's character is called.

I just watched "Mystery" and "Forbidden Love". The film looks like it's going to be brilliant, I think the romance is cleverly designed to cash in on the chick-flick market. "Forbidden Love" is by far the most revealing, I've a pretty good idea of what the film is going to be like now, so a word of warning for those trying to avoid spoilers, bewaaaare!! Spoilage abounds!!

While I do like to lay the smacketh down upon anyone who dares use spoilers, I think that calling the trailers spoilers is possible going a bit to far, considering that they are everywhere.Still, if there is anyone here who is planning on avoiding TV and the cinema completely for the next half a year, speak up! I didn't notice any spoilers in Forbidden Love. Unless you count the fact that Anakin fancies Padme (No!). She's also quite plainly wearing bondage gear at one point, so you can see why the poor boys confused.
