Does the Skywalker Ranch have horses? Or Taun-Tauns?

Now this might come as a bit of a shock to you but Star Wars (and Taun-Tauns) aren't actually real...

Next you'll be saying STAR TREK isn't real or George Lucas is a good writer/director!!

Now that would just be silly.

Well does anyone know if it is a real working ranch with horses and cattle etc? Or is it just a several thousand acre estate on which Lucas has his home and a large business office?
Is it more a Skywalker estate than a ranch? I haven't read the Lucas biographies and have only seen a little footage of the ranch from the Ep I and Ep II documentaries and they usually just show the huge wood Victorian-style office building built on the ranch.

Skywalker Ranch is the home of Lucasarts studio and if not mistaken Industrial Light and Magic, its just a bunch of office buildings not a real ranch If you want a real ranch I suggest you try Micheal Jacksons Neverland Ranch He has real ostriches

ILM is in Marin Country. In its own built.

what's a built - when it's in the form of a noun?
Neverland ranch - where you can have "Milk... and cookies and it was all very elegant"
Posted by Shik (Member # 343) on :
A built is a completed building. It's not building, it's finished, therefore it's a built.

So a built in which somebody lives is a dwelt?
Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :
What's a rental dwelt called?
Posted by Shik (Member # 343) on :
No, it's still a dwelling because it's currently being resided in. C'mon, boy. Think.

It was a Simpsons reference... it was to embiggen the thread.

Stop please, I have just fallen of my chair from laughing so hard.
To quote Rimmer: "I loved so hard I nearly puked"! Or was that "laughed"?
Posted by TSN (Member # 31) on :
In all fairness, they did stop. A week-and-a-half ago.
Posted by Intruder1701 (Member # 880) on :
Well now they have signs at the Neverland Ranch reading "You have to be this tall to ride Micheal"
Posted by AndrewR (Member # 44) on :
Wouldn't it read "You have to be this short..."
And Michael
Posted by Austin Powers (Member # 250) on :
@TSN: THEY might have stopped a week and a half ago, but I just read their comments now. So sorry for finding it extremely funny even after such a long time...
Posted by TSN (Member # 31) on :
Well, I wasn't referring to your finding it funny. I was referring to your saying "stop please".
Posted by Austin Powers (Member # 250) on :
No hard feelings. It was just a spontaneous reaction anyway.

Pay no attention to Tim, he's just being his usual overly pedantic self. B)
