I read about the Sci-Fi art events on the Flame board. Yesterday, several members at Trekbbs recieved harsh E-mails from themselves, quoteing a thread from Dec. One woman was even threatened in the Email she recieved. Sounds like Anti-Social behaviuor to me.

Guard yourselves.

More then one person is trying to trace the E-mails we recieved. They used our addresses, so I got an E-mail with

From [email protected]
To [email protected]

One of the BBS members was able to trace to a web site for some kind of clinic, which makes me think Proxy Server. Sound fimiliar?

We appreciate your concern.
It is noted and stupid.

It's reasons like this that I have NO email addresses listed except the Mods. I'm considering making this official Flare policy rather than a temporary measure to prevent people from harassing us.

Just a 'lil note... There is an official ceace-fire going on between us an SFA... If these guys are from SFA and are trying to target us at Flare, they are doing it with the disapproval of the SFA TPTB.

This could get interesting if more people start speculating and pointing fingers. I hope it just blows over.

Find him and kill him. I am programmed in multiple techniques.

All I can tell you for sure (thanks to my mole) is that noone's been talking/bragging about doing/having done it at a-s lately.

Well, the e-mail I received was both disturbing (that someone would think that way) and amusing.

Ah forget it. I'd been even more confused if you had answered the questions I just posted.

Particular thread? Was I there? Do I get one? Because it would be a welcome break from all this FreeLotto spam that appears to be all I ever get.

Sorry Sol, would have been nice to have your comments. As a matter of fact, I think I started a similiar thread here, right after that one started there, asking if you all wanted to see Kirk return to trek.

I believe someone wanted the bbs members to fight. A couple of people had to be banned. One guy, Twain, has already said it was not him, and I tend to believe him, since hideing is not his style. Hard to tell, could be almost anyone.

Sabotage isn't dorky, it's mean.
This whole thing came as a shock to me. When I log on I usually go here to look for new posts or topics, then I go to Sci-Fi Art to see if they have built any new ships or rendered any images. To me the two sites complement each other.

So, to be a little witty, could the relations between SolarFlare, TheNewOrder and SciFiArt be like those of humans, klingons and romulans, in that order?

I mean, most people I've heard here joke all in good fun about the rivalry between SFF-TNO. THAT'S the way it should be!

Rivalry between SFF-TNO? Never heard of it.

I always thought of TNO as the storm cellar we huddle in whenever this place explodes.
