So that's what a curry looks like...

"Patak"... Isn't that a Klingon insult? And a Romulan name, IIRC...

Patak is actually an Indian name. The guy who created the pataks brand basically took his surname and whacked it on a jar.

A Cream Egg curry? What an intruiging idea.

A creme-egg curry? Blasphemy! How dare you spoil the sacred curry with something so VILE! I call for Liam to be excommunicated from the curry order for his apparent support of this monstrocity.

Anyway, I still believe that the best curries are home made. That stuff that you get in jars and packets just isn't the same. Keep a curry simple - all these different names that you get for curries are just a marketing ploy. An authentic Pakistani/Indian curry is pretty plain, and the only things that usually differ are the levels of spiciness and hotness (from the chilli's)

Ooo, the flavours. I can taste 'em already.

Mind you, the most delicious curry I ever had was made with Quorn. Weird.

And for that, I'm still devising a suitable punishment Mr Raven.

I just had a Quorn Curry today for lunch, and Joe is right, it is really nice. I had seen it on the menu before but wasn't sure about it, so gave it a miss. Today however, there was nothing else on the menu that was even remotely going to satisfy my appetite so I went for the Quorn Tikka Massala. I highly recommend it for any budding curry enthusiasts and seasoned curry eaters who have never tried it before.

Actually Orion curry is so vast in it's variety that using the word curry is like using the word 'European Food'. Believe me, the differences go well beyond levels of spice and basic cooking techniques.
