If you were exepecting have a child, and were able to, as a result of advances in genetics choose its sex, as well as its physical appearances.....? If so, how would you choose for your child to look? Personally, I would not do that because IMO it would be too much like playing God.

Oh, but I WANT to play God. I think maybe I could do a better job. But appearance and sex? Naw, too easy.

creativity, Intellect, and the ability to apply it.
Disease resistance, and utterly perfect health.

Find the genes for those, then we'll talk.
Actually, I'd like my children all to be stunningly gorgeous, perfectly healthy redheaded girls with green eyes, no taste for alcohol or tobacco, and IQ's above 180.

(And future boyfriends all over the world begin shaking in their boots...)

In the meantime, I'd settle for a wife like that...
