HAHA, Speakeasy DSL is ranked one of the worst ISP on DSL report dot com, you guys should check it out.

While Shaw@home, the ISP I have, kick ass on the review (I believe ranked number 2 on all ISP at DSL report dot com)

At major traffic time, I get about 2200/200, and off traffic time, I get about 3800/350.

Mind you those are testing done when linking to server at New York or California, when I did the test linking to Vancouver servers, I get about 4000 ~ 4500 kps download speed

And sorry to bring this up, I have 203 posts already, so when can I change my status line, and if so, how?

Uhm, dslreports.com reports Speakeasy as one of the BEST, not one of the worst. In fact, they're rated number three overall. Ya, their email and phone support sucks, but I generally know enough not to need either.

Custom status lines are at 250.

Mine's shit. Total and utter shit. Terrible speeds, constant disconnections, and it's just a pain in the ass. I need something beyond 24k *sigh*

At least you (U.S./Canada) have plenty of ISP's to choose from, here the number of available (non dial-up) broadband providers is quite low, and weither their coverage includes your region depends on fortune.

Or, why the US is better than Canada! j/k

I use Roadrunner, which is really good compared to Buffalo's only cable internet provider, Adelphia. They've got a cable system that couldn't handle the demand for high speed internet, and they refuse to upgrade it.

I use Wile E. Coyote. But this Acme brand modem they sent keeps falling off the desk and leaving a modem-shaped hole in the ground.

That was a joke, for those who don't understand... :-)

Uh, no. Where I live there is only one ISP- a slow ass dial-up. Thankfully when I move, I'm going to get roadrunner and have cable, real speed.
