I say that each and every one of us should give a hearty thank you to all the folks who made this Forums possible.

And of course, the guy-in-charge, the Almighty himself, his Royal Highney, Charles "Da Man" Capps.

Thank you all involved. I love the forums, and they couldn't have existed without these guys.

We should also offer a prayer to the allmighty - that gigantic curry pot in the sky. *Couldn't resist*.

Curry motiff, mmm.

Erm... Now that I think of it... What does "MCARS" stand for, anyway? "Mibrary Computer Access and Retrieval System"? :-)

"Movie Computer Access and Retrieval System"? That's very odd. I didn't know they watched movies on starships... :-)

Well, since they watch B5 on the main viewscreen I'm sure they watch movies too!

Few people realize that the warp drive is actually activated when no one uses the computer for a while, and the "Flying Through Space" screen saver comes onscreen.

Spock: Captain, we've dropped out of warp.

Kirk: Okay, who touched the mouse?

Just to be a pooper, I should point out that you say "Hear, hear!" in response to a toast, not "here, here."

It all started here. The thread that you have just read was how this forum came into being. Now, more than 2 years later, this forum has grown into a comunity of over 500 people. There were good times. There were bad times. This forum was home for so many people for so long. Hopefully it will remain home for many years to come.

I promise I will write a crappy review for the series finale of 'Enterprise.' Just like I did with Voyager. I'm hopeing that this forum will still be around by then.

I knew that was old when I saw it. Adam H and the whole Hee Haw gang. If only the younger ones knew.

Hardly. It may be how Solarflare, which eventually became Flare, started, but Solarflare came from the Starfleet Communications Relay, which came from the Utopia Planitia and Trek Central boards. This place has been around, in one form or another, since mid-1997. :-)
