OK, can anyone tell me if there are any good programs that are on the net to download, that are good for making web pages. I.e. so I don't have to go and actually learn html - the easy way out!
I'd like it to be able to let me do frames and imagemaps etc!

Frontpage or Dreamweaver will suit your needs, although they aren't freeware. 'Course, that doesn't mean you can't download them... you just have to know where to look
BTW: HTML is very easy to learn, and having some experience with its inner workings can come in handy - FP or DW don't always produce the desired result.

But if you know how to use them and have a grasp of HTML you'll be able to do some very nice things. I'd recommend dreamweaver over frontpage any day of the week.

Agreed. I made this site in Netscape Composer originally, but then I realized how little flexibility I really had, so I just bit the bullet and learned what everything did. I probably couldn't reproduce it from memory, by any means, but it's not that complicated.

I use Frontpage (because I have it), and then edit the HTML when I need to.
Sometimes (or often), it's easier to make changes using the graphical interface, in the same way that some things are easier in Windows than in DOS. You should still know some HTML though, in case things go wrong.
And I need to learn about CSS now. Arse.
