It's like some sort of .... super car.

The video's a little choppy. Where's the propulsion on this thing? Is there a propeller somewhere?

I could waste hour and hours of my life with one fo these.

It's hard to tell, but it definitely looks like there's a propeller on the front of that boaty-plane. You can it somewhat when it's hanging vertically in the air.

That is pretty cool, but I'd have no where to play with that thing. No nearby lakes and ponds, and I'd really rather not send it into the creek. It might mutate into a super boaty-plane and try to conquer the world for machinekind.

That was awsome!!!!

Jet power at the back and a prop situatated at 90 at the forward section of the craft. Simple and sweet. [Smile] Wonder if you could do it with a prop instead of a jet at the back?

No need for wings, flaps fitted to the rear spoiler gives manouverability.

This seems to be a hybrid of a helicopter/ground effect vehicle.

The prop at the front creates a down pressure allowing the jet to push the craft onto the air cushion created by the prop - a 'naked' hovercraft, if you will - no skirt!!!....lol

The fact that it is a styro-foam body, suggests that power-to-weight restrictions apply and getting a real craft to work this way could be difficult. That said, I WANT ONE!!!!!!.

No open land, either?

There's a bit of open land around here (if I trespass), but look at the video. You have to have the water to experience the total coolness factor. I could make anything fly with a slingshot or air cannon, but how many things can fly and swim, I ask you? None.

We call 'em quackards. I do need to take back part of a previous statement. I could always drive down to the Addicks and Barker resevoirs to play with this thing (provided that such things are allowed in those recreational areas).
