Wasn't there an episode of Futurama were Fry had to travel to a planet with 3 suns. He was walking through the desert, sweatin like hell to the 2 suns in the sky. When the suns had set, he breathed a sigh of relief only to have a much larger sun rise above. Ah the classics...

Hmm, we're getting close to "Nightfall" territory here. I'd be curious to see some figures for the amount of a (hypothetical) moon's time in daylight versus darkness... Obviously it wouldn't be uncommon, but I imagine that such a moon would receive much more daylight than on a more Earth-like planet...

One of the key differences, for example, is the fact that this planet orbits only one of the stars, and the other two stars orbit the first primary star. On Tatooine, I always got the impression that the planet orbited two closely-orbiting stars from a greater distance.
