I'd like some advice on burning DVD video, if someone would be so kind as to assist me. I've burned DVDs before starting from an image or a regular video file and encoding it to DVD. But this time I have a folder (VIDEO_TS) full of BUP, IFO and VOB files. I seem to recall that these are the sorts of things you get if you open a video DVD in Explorer. So I'm wondering how do I go about burning these to a format viewable to my DVD player? Do I just burn these files to the DVD and that's that?

In Toast (you will need to use the advanced options), once you have a valid VIDEO_TS folder, you can just burn a data disc in UDF format with that VIDEO_TS folder in the root, and in one to several minutes, you will have a video DVD. Everyone please feel free to now call me a moron for using a Mac.

Okay after some poking around in the Nero suite it looks like this is exactly what Recode is for. Now I can sit back, relax, and watch Tintin.
