I really should post a link to this in the Flameboard (they need it more there) but I always thought this site was entertaining. I am referring to the "Conversational Terrorism" web page.

Read and comment.

Plus, can anyone point me to any good web pages that detail the legitimate (and illegitimate ) tactics of debate?

I defintiely recognise the "word salad" technique as a tactic I like to employ with morons.

The only rule to debate is to get your facts straight. That's all. Nothing is off-limits.

I've learned from experience that at times, you need to be antagonistic to get any response (although I really don't enjoy it).

Such terrible things we have come up with to make converstations of importance sway in our favor. I need more time to read all of this good stuff. Not that I'm bad at it now, but it never hurts to keep up to date.
