I think there was a stardate on a screen, but I couldn't see it clearly.

When Picard finished his talk to Admiral Dougherty after the welcome of this new species, the ufp-logo appears on the screen and unter it I think there was a stardate.

WOOHOOO!! Post #1000

Ahem..

I have the widescreen version, so that may limit the size of the text, but I'll try.

To blurry on my version. I can only make out a seven as possible 3rd or 4th number...

In another forum we're discussing, if STIX plays during or after the D-War. I'm sure it's during the D-War. What things of the movie support my opinion?

Um, the fact that it came out during the D-War arc on DS9 and the fact that First Contact did the same same thing and kept its place in the time line. Seriously, there hasn't been anything to suggest that the movies ever occur out of place with regards to the series except for the jumps seen in the TOS movies (but there was no overlap and therefore no contradiction there). Unfortunately, the movie was never referred to on DS9 except for one line about a Son'a outpost in one episode.

Both Generations and First Contact were clearly in the normal timeline, given the fact that Worf was put in DS9 and Seven has mentioned First Contact several times.

If you count the game Star Trek Armada as canon, then the stardate is probably around 527xx

I think so, yes...

That is also somewhat consistent with the release of Insurrection compared with DS9.

I've got it on DVD too . The number given on the screen is actually a "station ID" not a stardate - sorry, guys.

Fitz: ST:IX must have occured during the war because Worf was on a mission or what not from DS9. After the war Worf became a diplomat to the Klingon Empire, and I doubt that he would be wearing a Starfleet uniform while serving in that capacity.

Actually.. was Worf a Federation ambassador to Qo'noS, or a Klingon Empire ambassador to the Federation? Also, is he still a Starfleet officer or has he hung up his uniform and combadge for typical Klingon clothes?
