Can you guys answer some questions for me for my shiplist?

1.) [This is actually a fairly daunting task.] Can somebody provide me with a summary of each of the DS9 runabout's escapades throughout ALL their various episodes? (Or at least tell me when each of them first and last appeared?)

2.) Same thing for the more obscure U.S.S. Nash (Sydney-class). I have down it as appearing in "Playing God," "Acession," "Trials and Tribble-ations," and "Chrysalis." Were there any others? Also, what was the ship doing in each of these episodes? (More specifically for the first two. I already know that in T&T it brought the temporal investigatiors aboard the station, and it in Chrysalis it transported that Sarina chick to wherevever it was she was going...)

3.) When did the Leeds first appear? Was it in the credits from Season One, or was it a later addition?

4.) In what episode did the Yeager (Intrepid variant, not Saber) first appear?

5.) In what episode was the Sao Paulo actually renamed to Defiant? Was it in "Dogs of War" or "What You Leave Behind"?

That's it for now. I'll try to think if there are any more?

Thanks a lot,
-MMoM [Big Grin]

Oh, no I've just realised the Nash/Sydney class connection to put it in line with the Jenol*n. Russel Crowe played John Nash in "A Beautiful Mind" and he occasionally lives in Sydney! (I think he lives on the New South Wales north coast in or near Coffs Harbour)... Oh dear! [Wink]

2) As I understand it, the Nebula model was seen dressed as the Leeds in an exhibition, and when asked Okuda said it was left like that from the last time it was used , which was in filming the DS9 credit sequence.

3) I have "Dr. Bashir, I Presume?" I hope that's right, it's in my UP3 writeup. . .

4) "The Dogs of War."

The Leeds first appeared in the opening at the beginning of the 4th season. I think they had to change the credits anyway because Worf came to the station, so they just decided to change the entire opening credit sequence.

*looks through DS9 Companion*
Although I have not seen the episode, I'm guessing we saw the Nash take Arjin home at the end of "Playing God." As for "Acession," I'm also guessing we saw the Nash drop Keiko O'Brien and some Bajorans off at DS9 at the beginning of the episode.
Again, I cannot confirm these things, because I only based these guesses on passages from the DS9 Companion. Can anyone who has the episodes confirm them?

What did you smke when you wrote the post? The numbers are a bit confusing... [Big Grin]

1)...

3) [Where is 2?] I think those are the only four episodes. The shot was always the same, we saw the ship docking at one of the large phylon-docks. (Did we ever concider the camera was upside-down, not the ship? [Smile] )

2) [Aah, here it is!] Fourth season intro, the appearance in FC is not entirely clear. But why not?

3) [Huh? Again?] No idea, I think the first one was 'Doctor Bashir, I Presume?', but I'm not sure about the following episodes.

4) [Errr...] 'Dogs of War', the first episode featuring the new ship. But we saw NX-74205-stock-footage in WYLB.

Mim, I got something for you. STguardian says they are from 'Chrysalis', and at least the smaller picture appears to ba a Sydney-class ship. The one you see on the larger picture - not sure, but it looks like the Raven. I knwe I saw them somewhere, and searched the page for the last hour to find them.

Thanks for the effort, but I've seen those already. And yes, they're both the Nash, which transported Sarina off the station at the end of the episode.

P.S.

So, the Leeds was in the credits from season four onwards?

Yes. season 1-3 only had the Runabout at the beginning, season 4-7 had the 'populated' station with lots of vessels, like the Nebula.
