I know it exists. I can see it! But I cannot read it. Okuda talks about it but there is no picture of it in the encyclopedia. I cannot seem to find one online.

Does anyone have a readable picture of the plaque?

Can't say I've ever seen one either.

I could make a capture of it but I don't think it would do much good. What is required is a sharp DVD capture.

IIRC a copy of the plaque was sold with trading cards a long time ago.

While we are on the subject of dedication plaques, does anyone know a site with most if not all of the known plaques?

I think you'll find the reason that the Stargazer's plaque wasn't featured in the encyclopedia has something to do with the Class name printed on it.
I think it's the same reason why the Pasture's plaque was also ommitted.

Good idea. If the vessel was supposed to be a Constitution, there should be that class name on the plaque, too.

What do we know about the bridge layout? what parts of the E-A-set (if any) were used for the ship? Could you see that it was supposed to be a Constitution?

I could make a screencap from the DVD myself (actually, no, but I could pause and zoom in close enough to see what I wanted) if there was anything there to see. But the plaque is only seen in a quick pan between two characters, and all you can tell about it is that it is gold-colored.

It seems quite possible the plaque says Constitution class on it, but I'm not sure that would preclude it from ever being seen again.

As to the bridge of the Stargazer, it's built out of a handful of TMP bridge elements with new displays and such, as far as I can tell. But, I mean, it's no more intended to be the bridge of a Constitution than the D's original battle bridge was.

A quick Google search for "starship dedication plaques" will turn up lots of sites containing the usual suspects. (The Enterprises, the Sutherland, the Defiant, the Voyager, etc.) But no Stargazer.

I am hoping that a picture sits squirreled away in the back of some obscure publication somewhere, waiting to be scanned, but it's beginning to seem unlikely. I suppose I could always ask Michael Okuda, though after fifteen years I doubt he remembers whether anyone anyone ever happened to take a picture of it or not.

What I mean is if there are any good screen caps of other dedication plaques other than the obvious common ones.

I've the plaques of the Hathaway and the Phoenix on my site, which I haven't seen on other sites yet.
