I figure we pretty much knew they hadn't changed the MSD on the bridge, but this confirms it. I count 24 decks. That would, of course, explain how the Remans beamed to deck 29.

Meanwhile, I see what looks like a decent bottomless pit, right at the bottom of the ship. On the other hand, I also count zero warp cores, and that would be a good place for it.

Between the guy who couldn't spell anything, the deck count shenanigans, and so on, I'm starting to realize that a lot of the detail work we'd come to know and love was just wonky in Nemesis. Okuda must be spinning in his gr . . . uh . . . office chair.

Spinning in your office chair is fun!

Since I don't have to live by closed-captioning, I just choose to hear "twenty-one" where other people hear "twenty-nine". And I assume both Riker and the Viceroy climbed up and down Jeffries tubes like two monkeys in heat, until ending up at deck 12 or so, thus creating enough clearance for the Viceroy to free-bungee all the way down to deck 24.

That, or then the shaft was horizontal and just innovatively gravitationalized.

They should just release Special Edition DVDs of the films with bad deck references and dub them over. That would keep everyone happy. [Smile]

EDIT: Oh, and the space you think the warp core goes in is in fact where it goes, according to other MSDs. [Smile]

(Cue Mighty Mouse music)

Here I come to save the daaaay! (with a bullshit excuse that is!)

The ship is critically damaged and the computer is re-directing gravity towards the gaping hole where the front of the saucer used to be to...er...minimize additional structural collapses.
Riker and Nosforatu scrap and bat-boy takes the plunge down a horizontal turboshaft to his death from starlight posioning in deep space.

but if that is the case cojo then why the hell would they have that walkway/bridge like thing going along on its side absolutely useless to all crew? or are they prepareing for any invading 8472 by giving them walkways on walls?!

How About:
"In the event of turboshaft failure - other decks can be accessed via the ladder rungs built into the vertical turboshaft side.
At any level with two doors on opposing sides of a turboshaft - retractable walkways will automatically extend, enabling personnel to cross the shaft."

Okay, it's lame, but it does cover the problem (although, that shaft was awfully wide...)
