no I'm not going to talk about the mirror universe, I'm going to talk about the ship.

Smiley takes Sisko to a ship it looks a lot like the Bajoran Impulse ship... has anyone else recognized that before? In any case, isn't it way out of scale [if it has so much internal volume] for what we saw in the Circle Saga and during "Preemptive Strike" ?

It doesn't have to represent a Bajoran ship since it's the mirror universe nor does it have to be the same size.

What I thought was cool about that whole scene, though, was that Smiley took a ship to the location that the station was in our universe to beam Sisko and himself aboard (or at least that's always what I got from that), then they went to Bajor where the mirror DS9 was in orbit.

I think the model they used was the Bajoran impulse ship that only had a pilot and rear station in the Circle episode (bend your knees). Are there any insignia on the mirror ship? It's quite possible that it's a slightly larger Bajoran ship that the Alliance stole. I seem to recall they have a small squad of fighters in a later Mirror episode when they attack Worf's ship.

I think it was meant that it was the ships that were pursuing the "BYK" subimpulse raider. They may have also been seen in Preemptive Strike.

I don't recall any squad of fighters fighting Worfs ship. Just the one Maqui ship/Fed fighter that Dax/Bashir were flying as a decoy.

Right, there wasn't a squad of ships attacking, but didn't they say they had accumulated a small squad? Bashir and the yummy Dax took one of them to play decoy. Where else would the Terrans have gotten ships if they hadn't stollen them from the Alliance, particularly the Bajorans. They may have even been stored on Terok Nor (which oddly enough remained in Bajoran orbit under Terran control without being shot out of the sky).
