Hey all, I just posted a few pictures of my recently completed model, the U.S.S. Seldon. Check it out here on my web site. And I have a couple trivia questions for you. Why did I use the topic title I did, and (simmilarly) where did I get the name from? The first person sho gets the answer right gets a prize!

Well, ok, no prize. But you get the self-satisfaction of knowing that you got it right first.

Hari Seldon, psychohistorian from Trantor, and the pivotal (yet by the time of the books, deceased) figure in Asimov's "Foundation" trilogy (and the attendant prequels, written both by Asimov and others).

We have a winner. Good to see I'm not the only one who reads the good stuff. But Seldon is actually from Helicon. He just lived on Trantor.

Yep, that's right. I'd forgotten. He just spent the majority of time in the BOOKS on Trantor.

Well, I liked the under-over look of the nacelles. Not to many fan-generated designs ever made much of an inpression on me, but this one did.
