There is a web site under constuction that needs your help. It is called Utopia Planitia 3. It is a web site dedicated to all the Fed and Alien ships you see in Star Trek. They will cover everything from the Constitution class to the Yeager class starships. If you think you can help in any way wheather it be writing discriptions of the starship classes or by creating diagrams and/or pictures of them please write them at [email protected] They will appreciate your help!

ROFLMAO!

This is too funny! LOL...

We're the ones working on this! LOL...

Seriously, us Flare-goers (well, those who wish to, anyways) are the ones that are doing UP3.

Anyhoo, I'm confuzzled over this. Is this spam if it's regarding our own site?

This = Immensely Disturbing.

"...[They've] been so completely dumbed down by the media, by tabloid scumbags, by the Christian "right", by politicians in general, the school, parents who are dumber than their parents were, who are dumber than their parents were, and all of whom think that they can bring up a child just because they got down in bed and had a little sex...well, frankly, here is an audience that knows more and more about less and less as the years go by...We are talking about a constituency...that knows nothing. This is pandemic; terrifyingly, paralyzingly pandemic. They know absolutely nothing."

Very disturbing indeed.

I would have at least expected the poster to realize that the address to which he was encouraging people to write was the EXACT same domain as the one in which he was posting.

I mean, that doesn't exactly require a Holmesian feat of observation...

oops! Sorry about that. If it's any consolidation I did post this message in another popular forum. In all honesty this the only way I could think of to help. Unless you have something else in mind that I could help you with.

Is UP3 still going? I remember when this first kicked off, about two years back...

I know many Trek-websites that suddenly stopped updating in -98. Still haven't...

It's not about how fast we can write, it's about how long it takes us to actually get something done and submitted. A lot of us are procrastinators, you know.

MIB: Erm... Y'know, the sentiment is appreciated, and I'm sure we're all glad you're trying to help, but it'd probably be best if you didn't spam other forums in our name... :-)

Why don't you rename the site to just Utopia?
