Okay, has anyone managed to even partially keep track of all the agendas going on here? This is one absolutely mind-boggling web they've got going.

So Scorpy's a triple agent, eh? Somehow I'm not too surprised -- and I notice (after the fact, naturally) that they've been dropping plenty of hints of his hidden Scarran heritage that he's still maintaining. From his very first outburst towards Crais to the recent shows of strength and the Scarran blood-tasting ritual, it's obvious he's not completely abandoned their culture. But working for the Scarrans directly? It's ingenious, if what I think is going on is correct.

Basically, Scorpy is honestly developing wormholes for the Peacekeepers, and always has been -- but his intention could be to make off with the technology at the last moment and carry it back to the Scarrans. So the Scarrans are working the wormhole problem from BOTH angles -- developing the tech themselves, and also helping their enemies develop the tech so they can steal it from them. That's ruthless... just plain nasty. (But of course, we already knew the Scarrans were nasty.)

I've got one major -- and I mean major -- question that I don't think the writers have forgotten. We know from last year's "John Quixote" (the VR game episode) that Stark carries the memories of Talyn-John, who died a ways back. But... that John actually had unlocked the secrets of wormholes. If Stark has his memories, then HE should have the info that the Scarrans want! How twisted is that?
Oy... and to think that the series is ending in just two episodes. I knew there was a cliffhanger coming, but this is going to be probably the most frustrating event in the history of popular science fiction. Everyone made fun of the "lost episode" in the "Galaxy Quest" movie, but I'm afraid that this is going to be much, much worse. Four years of hidden agendas, lies, twists, and surprises... all left unresolved because of a few greedy television executives.

This is interesting stuff. I might buy the DVD sets for all 4 seasons when they go down in price. [Smile]

If that ever happens... ADV is notoriously anal with their DVD prices. Mind you, some of their older anime box sets have been very cheap...

Grasshopper works for himself first and formost. What he really intends to do with wormholes is beyond me, and unless they do the animated version, or Sci-Fi gets shamed into making a movie, we'll never really know. I'd like to see the series writers get together and do a majoir novel that ties up the loose ends.

Hmm... lessie, what can you use these things for? Destroying things, going places, and changing history are the only things I can think of... you don't suppose he plans to wipe out his own existence?

That wouldn't seem to fit his actions so far... and going to such extreme lengths to achieve his own suicide seems rather unlikely.

Perhaps, despite his claims, Scorpy is still playing both sides against the middle, and waiting to see who's likely to come out the winner. He does have a leg in both camps already, so to speak.

At this point, I'm just waiting for the Nebari to show up and wipe out everyone, and then find out that Scorpy's been working for them all along. [Razz]

Destroying things or going palces really. To change history, you would have to us it to get there, but that in and of it's self wouldn't change history. So Scorpy will either destroy something, or go somewhere, or go somewhere to destroy something.

Okay, so maybe not preventing his own existence as his sole goal, but, say saving his mother and... whatever you call the man that was married to your mother before she was kidnapped and raped as breeding stock. That would result in his becoming existence-impared, but it wouldn't be his sole goal.
