A reasonable episode, but one which took until almost the halfway point to get Sheppard into the core of his predicament. Still, we see another clue to the Ancients and them getting to ascension.

-The high wall surrounding the sanctuary is only missing Mount Doom at its centre, apparently. But I'm sure there's a tower whereever the ZPM is sitting.

-It's now easy enough to mount a non-Lantean probe onto the bottom of a puddle jumper. However, it seems as though they skipped over the fact that the bulk of the probe wouldn't let the PJ fit through the orbital gate...

-So, at no point during the two hours Teyla and Ronon were standing around outside the portal, neither of them though to write a message and toss it through explaining what predicament Shep is in? Even after McKay thought it would be a good idea?

-The soul-patched guy was last seen as Simon the clueless Christian from the 3rd season SG-1 episode "Demons". He was also Hanno, the guy whose dad Teal'c killed in "Cor-Ai".

-The Ancients' time manipulation abilities as a delaying tactic are put to actual use again here - we've seen them create a time loop to try to save themselves from disease in "Window of Opportunity"; here, they've created a time dilation field as a shortcut to ascension. Time passes faster on the inside, letting them meditate themselves to ascension before the Wraith could find them. Since then, it's developed into a place where others would come to do the same thing. What, did they get people to drop them off? We haven't seen anyone who's been able to use the orbital gates except our heroes and the Wraith.

-MALP on a stick. [Smile]

-This episode shows that Ronon DOES in fact have extra clothes... But I'm wondering how long he can keep up the schtick with his sword and gun. He's been lucky so far to retrieve them after he's captured, but how many ways can they figure him capable of doing so in the future?

-Sheppard and Ascendeds at Tenagra... But note that when the beast rakes its claws over Shep, he doesn't react at all - his body should at least move when recieving that deep a cut!
