Ok, so we know that Galactica has a huge shortage of pilots, and, "Hotdog" being any indication, they're running out of callsigns as well. So, with the new season coming up, and new pilots needed, how about we help em out with callsign ideas?

I think they should name a squadron "Hannibal", "Murdock", "B.A", and "Face." (in honour of the original Starbuck) [Razz]

Any suggestions?

Nothing, I think.

The scary thing is, a friend of mine looks like him. And I passed someone looking like Helo on the street yesterday. If I see tall pretty blonde in red dress, I'm outta here [Wink]

Murdock would also make sense since George Murdock was the doctor in BSG:TOS. Nero and Fatty Arbuckles would also seem quite in keeping.

IIRC, wasn't Hotdog given his call sign by Starbuck in his first appearance in "Acts of Contrition" for his initial tendency for showing off and pushing the limit during landings in the hangar bay?

Not even that - IIRC, Starbuck started calling him "Hot Dog" because he wasn't paying attention during her first briefing to the newly-recruited pilots.

Hotdog's ok, but it ain't any "Maverick"

I think Galactica's gonna need a couple Mavericks, considering each Base Star has around 250 Raiders, vs Galactica's 40 Vipers. Just a thought.
