Found this forum on Google and I thought I'd take a few brave steps to introduce myself to this group. Not sure if anyone here is aware, but I have written a couple of novels about a futuristic voyage to Alpha Centauri in a generation ark. So far, the reviews on my first book (released last October) have been positive.

All the details are on my publisher's website:-

[No.]

I am also on the MySpace network, so if you've read my book(s) or generally want to have a chat, come say hello at:-

[Still no.]

I would like to chat about sci-fi here from time to time, so hope to be around [Smile]

Everyone gets a chance. Just 'cuz we JUST FINISHED dealing with a COMPLETE MORON whose only purpose here was to sell his book, doesn't mean that this person is the same.

It sure looks like it, but he should at least know that this community doesn't take kindly to people who fly in out of the blue with a product to sell.

Yes, he should, because he sure has a healthy drive to promote himself and his works.

I'm beginning to think the real Ahad radius is the number of message boards this guy's managed to post one of his little introductions on, and it's quite comfortably bigger than any doubt benefits he's going to get from me.

Although you seem to have the best of intentions, your post is considered spam here. I'm sure an administrator will be locking this thread soon.

EDIT: Thanks to Cartman's links, I now see that you've been posting the same thing at other boards, at least one of which told you not to spam them. Apparently you didn't learn your lesson. If you have nothing to contribute to this board other than the self-promotion of your book, you'll find no friends here.

"A film made in 2008 isn't going to look like a TV series from 1966 if it wants to make any money. As long as the characters act the same way, and the spirit of the story remains the same then it's "real" Star Trek. Everything else is window dressing." -StCoop

The hell is this, tag-team author self-promotion spam?

Links removed, thread locked, and, if you do it again, you'll probably be banned.
