I attempted to look up DAF and Fokker cars, and stumbled across this.

Will wonders never cease?

I came home the other night and tried to open the door with my car keys...and the building started up. So I took it out for a drive. A cop pulled me over for speeding. He asked me where I live... "Right here".

Very strange. How do you go about finding all these fascinatingly odd tidbits?

Garak: Interesting. You saved the day by destroying the world.
Bashir: I bet they didn't teach you that in the Obsidian Order.

Yes! And inexpensive, too! It's constructed from Cinzano signs. If you can't find a parking space, you can carry it like luggage (or you could if there was a handle).

Baloo: fokker cars? Oops, I think I didn't make it quite clear that fokker doesn't make any cars. Never did :]

BTW when an English friend of ours first heard of fokker planes he was quite amused. Hum. :] (again)

Fokker did make planes that were shot down by the bucketload in 1940. *wide grin of self pity*

I wondered. A lot of aircraft companies switched to making cars in post-war Europe. Saab is the most successful example, but the most entertaining vehicles were the micros. Messerschmitt and BMW made two of the most toylike of the bunch.

[Suddenly realizes he ought to provide some examples.]

The Shelter. A Dutch micro car, build by ir. A. van der Goot.

There's loads more. Look up "micro car" in your favorite search engine.

Ewwwwwww@Those car pics!
Methinks those companies still had airplanes in mind when they conceived those "vehicles". :P

I didn't do it. Nobody saw me do it. You can't prove a thing. :-) ....
