This has got to be one of the most obnoxious posts I've ever seen. Akin to, "HI! THIS IS MY 2000 POST!" threads. We'll see your .sig when you post, you don't have to devote a whole thread to the dammed thing.

Just like your e-Bay spamming, you've succeeded.

You should only use, at the most, two -- dashes ... anymore is redundent. Also, you begin the quote with ", but you forget to end the quote with 'em. Get crackin.

One more thing. How can I change that "member" thing under my name to something else?

You can't. Wait 'til it says "Senior Member". Then you'll be able to do it in your profile.

Senor. With a tilde over the n.

And there aren't any real .sig rules. Well, other than "Thy .Sig Shalt Not Piss Me Off." And maybe TSN. And Charles. And, well, everyone else.

To answer the question that I've asked myself - there's a section somewhere in this forum entitled "My very own status line" or something like it. In there it is stated that after 250 posts, you have the honour of changing the bit under your user name.

As for the sig's - what's the story behind the Matrix and the mashed potatoes at that party?

On a completely different (and now closed) issue; I see that Vogon Poet's status line is partially true in the case of BlueElectron's blunder with the Buffy spoiler - "Demon to some . . . Angel to others". Well I think we can all agree that Vogon Poet was being a Demon to BlueElectron. Ah well, we all learn from our mistakes - don't we? I know that my Cousins and Uncle will be mortified! Hehe! I might just tell them . . . Cruel or what?

#73? Number SEVENTY-THREE?

I must protest. Tim's on 31. MaGiC's on 59. Orion's on flipping 25. HOW! I must know before I start kicking people in the face.

Don't complain, not even CC is #1, and I'm 531, Nimrod is 246, you don't see him complaining

Posted by Waka (Member # 36) on :

Yeah, well, you didn't register the very moment Flare opened like the rest of us.

Posted by Shik (Member # 343) on :

Yeah. It's not like we're the fuckin' STONECUTTERS here...

Or are we?

Was that Steve Guttenberg?

Look for the littel martian, that's how you'll know if we're in the stonecutters or not

Well, I wasn't going to stand outside in the pissing rain, waiting for CC to come along with his virtual scissors and cut the tape. I'd have gotten cold.

March 1999 eh? Are all the first 100 or so numbers all in March 1999? And are they all on the same date? And who the hell are they, anyway?

Posted by Gaseous Anomaly (Member # 114) on :

Yeah, well I only missed out by a bloody month!! and I'm fucked back with the rest of the plebs!

I suppose there's more to be worried about in this day ad age, however. Nation pits itself against nation, creed against creed, and all that.... *sigh*

Posted by Siegfried (Member # 29) on :

Well, Liam, if you REALLY want to know who the first 100 members are, all you need to do is load a profile and edit the last sequence of numbers in the browser's address bar to the member number.

For example, I'm member 29. To check me out, change the last number sequence to 00000029.

Of course, anyone who sits at his/her computer and does this for all the members will get this reaction out of me:

Well, using my powers of conclusion and some detective work, the latest addition to our cause is J, nr 608. 2 posts already, way to go! Free turnip.

Grand old man is Adam Bauer, nr 3 in the line, with 9 posts. No turnip for you, little lurker!

I don't have the energy to find out who has the most posts, but I have a feeling that too will surface soon. :-)

So what did you "old guys" do anyway you watched the clock and exactly the time Flare opened you signed on?

I wonder what number Crusader is...

Forty-one people registered on 12.Mar.1999. Looks like these include the admins/mods, and the others are mostly people who posted a lot back then. So, basically, they're just the people who happened to show up the first day...

Posted by akb1979 (Member # 557) on :

Where are members #1 and #2? I just tried the above suggestion about changing numbers and they don't exist! How come?

Posted by Jeff Kardde (Member # 411) on :

Because I ate them.

I think this is the third time this question has been asked. I think Charles is about to have a hernia about people not reading his previous posts on this matter, so go read this before Charles wanders on in here and flips.

On the topic of who has the most posts, I am somewhat perturbed to learn that I have 3439 posts to my credit (and I've only been here since September) ...
