Well, I thought I'd get this out in the open while I could(my other two Toronto threads change so quickly). On my way to Toronto, somewhere before the Lake Shore exit on the Gardiner Highway, I crashed into another car, totalling it. Everyone was okay, as well as the computers and other stuff as well. I lost my car, my pride- and my insurance will probably go up. Just thought I'd clear the air on it.

Eeek! Sorry to hear about that.

Posted by Siegfried (Member # 29) on :

Dude, that's terrible!

But, on the bright side, all of you are okay.

Posted by Mr. Christopher (Member # 71) on :

Oh sure. I mention that I totalled my car and no one says anything.

Fabrux,

That's because you didn't slow down on a curve. Stupid stupid stupid!

Posted by Mr. Christopher (Member # 71) on :

Oh, be quiet, you!

Posted by Siegfried (Member # 29) on :

Hey, Fabrux, I was up ALL night with you when you were telling me how your car died. Damn it, man, I comforted as you were crying like a baby all night!

::I am so gonna get beat up for that::

Posted by Jeff The Card (Member # 411) on :

Erm.

Do you two live close to each other?

Posted by Siegfried (Member # 29) on :

Nope. He lives in New Brunswick and I live in Texas. We just talk a lot over ICQ and AIM. And I was kidding about being up all night comforting him on his loss. But Fabrux is still probably gonna beat up.

When i was taking drivers ED, the power brakes and steering failed. i clipped a lamp post and then hit a parked car in a parking lot, after it jumped the shoulder. i was making a left turn, and the steering and brakes went. i hit the shoulder and then the post. then the Ford F-150 in the parking lot.

In my driver's education class, I was assigned to the driving group that would earn a dubious distinction in the class. One of our young drivers almost hit a cow. That was funny as hell.

I hit a deer.

Because it ran out into the street.

Damn stupid deer.

Posted by Vogon Poet (Member # 393) on :

What, ANOTHER one?

Posted by The359 (Member # 37) on :

I almost hit a turkey. While doing 70mph...

Stupid thing blended into the woods real well, until it actually walked into the street.

Posted by Jeff The Card (Member # 411) on :

No, Vogon. The first deer. The only deer. I'm just saying. I hit a deer. I didn't wreck my car. I just hit a fucking deer. I didn't hit a new fucking deer, I hit the same old god-damn deer that I hit waaay back when. Same fucking deer. The same god-damn stupuid fuck fuck fuck fuckity fuckin deer.

Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :

You have issues.

Posted by Jeff The Card (Member # 411) on :

I have issues with people who think I hit another deer every time I refer to the same damn deer.

Posted by Siegfried (Member # 29) on :

Which deer? The fucking deer or the same old god-damn deer? Or is it the god-damn stupid fuck fuck fuck fuckity fuckin deer?

I'm going to go run and hide now before Fabrux and Jeff decide to tag team my ass.

Jeex, you sure have a lot of hostility towards this deer. You sure you didn't have some ulterior motive for running it down?

"I just hit a fucking deer. I didn't hit a new fucking deer, I hit the same old god-damn deer that I hit waaay back when."

How many times did you hit this same deer? Should we start calling you "Arthur Dent"?

;-)

The only time someone trusted me behind the wheel of their care was when I was learning how to drive. I managed to, while trying to park in my OWN HOUSE'S PARKING PLACE, scrape the entire side of my friends NEW Hyndai Elantra, doing at least 5 thousand dollars in damage. Eep.

My mom still wonders who dented her fence. We ain't tellin'.

The wierd thing is, after the car was fixed, this same person took me out in it again for more lessons. *shakes her head* Ooookay.

I'm guessing he wanted to get laid.

I hit only one deer, once. But whenever I talk about the accident, people ask me if I hit another deer. It's really not amusing.

Posted by Mr. Christopher (Member # 71) on :

What? Another deer, Jeff?

Posted by Da_bang80 (Member # 528) on :

I can see how that must be annoying. i once hit a dog while on my bike. the liesh broke and he stepped right into my path. this happened just last year. he didn't get hurt. but i went over the handles. and onto the grass. whole left side of my head had grass stains on it. i hit him in the shoulder so he didn't get hurt at all. i'm glad he didn't cause, i like German Sheppards

This is what happens when sister doesn't pay attention and drives car into the side of the garage:

Trust me, the damage is much worse then the picture shows. There are numerous cracks all around that area now. She's also hit the car on the same place on the garage and not told me, but I sort of figured it out when I saw white paint on the mirror.

Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :

What, the two small scratches? OH MY DEAR GOD! THEY REQUIRE SMALL AMOUNTS OF PAINT!

Posted by Jubilicious (Member # 99) on :

It wasn't a he, it was a she, an older, "Family Friend" type she. So sex was not an option.

Posted by The359 (Member # 37) on :

I said it's worse then what the picture shows! The entire bumper is cracked, and you can see it's dented underneath the headlight. Plus the black is actually a long, 6 inch long scratch. Paint definatly wont fix this.

What kind of car is that? Looks like an Alero...

Posted by The359 (Member # 37) on :

You could tell that from that little pic???

Or were you looking at the other 5 pics I uploaded with it?

That's the problem with these new 'plastic' bumpers. What would have been a minor dent in the days of metal, now becomes a collapsed area with attendant fractures and cracks, requiring the replacement of the entire fender area.

(I backed my Taurus into a small pole.)

Posted by Siegfried (Member # 29) on :

Yeah, that's what I loved about my old Cavalier. She had the heavy-duty bumpers, not these fragile little things that on my Saturn now.

I was backing out of a parking space down at school and accidentally bumped into a concrete pole. This pole was only stood about two and half feet tall, so I didn't see it when I was backing out. I hit that thing dead-center on my back bumper at about 10 mph. When I checked it out, not so much as a little scrap on it.

Posted by The359 (Member # 37) on :

Yeah, the only way to fix this would to be to take everything from the headlights and hood down off the car because it's such a big bumper.

Posted by Mr. Christopher (Member # 71) on :

Yes, I could tell from that little picture. Damn, I'm good...
