...to an apartment on campus. It's about five minutes away, so it isn't really a big deal. But I wanted to mention it, in case I have any problems getting online once I'm there. So, if I disappear for a little while, you know why.

No, a dorm is a tiny little room where things suck.
This is an actual apartment. Two bedrooms, kitchen, &c.
It's just run by the school.
Oh, BTW, I'm there right now. As you can see, my 'net connection == good. Some e-mail problems, though. Oh well...

Congrats on the apartment. What I miss most in my dorm room is a kitchen. Damn it, I love to cook! I can't do a whole lot with a toaster, microwave, and George Foreman grill! I need a stove, an oven, and a barbeque grill!
Hopefully, my misery will be ending next year. A friend and I are working on getting an apartment somewhere not too close to campus. It'll be my first time out in the "real world" since all I've ever known are the dorms and home.
Anyway, congrats and have fun. Need us to send you and apartment-warming gifts? Alcohol, strippers, drum sets?
