I want snow you late-fall early-spring wannabe!

No, You may not have snow.

There will be no appreciable snowfall this winter.
Why?
I can't afford snow tires right now.

I thought you Pennsylvanians were supposed to be able to drive in snow with bald tires while you laugh at those more south of you who have to close down for piddling amounts of the white stuff.

Its 72 degrees here in RI.. kinda nice, we're airing out the house. I'm sure that as payment for this though, its going to snow in May like it did two years ago

AAAAA!

It's December 1, and not one flake of snow has dropped here!
And I live in Wisconsin!

Posted by Jeff Raven (Member # 20) on :

That's odd.

Minnesota got 2 feet of snow a couple days ago. Wisconsin gets nothing.

Buffalo? We got rain.

We've had a lot of rain this past week, which was good, because we'd had a few brush-fires (relatively minor ones, but still) in the area.

Situation is looking up on the home front.

During this past week, it rained a couple days, and there was some snow (and sleet) mixed in w/ it at some points.

Friday night it rained like a cocksuckingsonovabitch here... my only joke for the evening was that the November Rain was really bugging me.. i couldnt go outside during he guitar solos.. then do an air guitar thing and humming it. nobody i said it to remembers November Rain.. damn kids i feel old

How could anyone not remember Guns & Roses "November Rain"? Modern rock classic!

It snowed 6-7 inches Wednesday the 28th in the central part of the state of Washington...it's been melting ever since. The grass which should be working towards if not already a dormant brown, is now greener than it was....This is just wrong.

I want snow. It rarely snows in South Carolina where I live. It did snow a couple inches 2 years ago in Feb. which was a big deal.

You may say you want snow but we both know what you really want is right here.

Tell me more of this thing called: Snow? We just had a thunderclap (a ways off), and it's been raining all weekend. On the upside, I get to wear my snazzy jacket.

Snow. I love snow. If there's a green Christmas this year, I'll be pissed. We've been getting some very annoying weather cycles in NB the last few years. In 98-99, we had green Christmases. Then, last year, there was a giant snowstorm near the end of November and it stayed right through til March. Now, this year we're getting rain in December. And it's not even all that cold out. Damn you weather!

I want snow. This time last year we had our one and only snow fall (Although it lasted into the middle of January.) I mean, it's in the 60's outside today and was raining last week...that's just WRONG. Going x-mas tree shopping wearing short sleeves..gah.

Remember the rain/snow I metioned last week? Yeah, now it's in the sixties or seventies...

Here in Spokane today: lots of snow, icy roads, and a minor car accident. I love my life.

Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :

At least it's predictable.

Er, if you like that sort of thing.

What is it with you and cars?

This reminds me. I need to get my heater fixed. Not that I've needed it thus far ... (can't say I mind $20 power bills)

We just got some permanet snowfall just a couple weeks ago in central sask. I hate snow. I hate the cold. the snow came about a month later than usual. It usually snows on halloween. but it didn't this year. bout 4 years ago we got a bad winter. we got like 2 feet of snow in one night. the next day was -45 celcius (without windchill) I think i'm rambling, but i just finished off a 2 litre bottle of mountain dew, and it's only 9 pm. and i'm sick so i didn't sleep at all last night, so it's like i'm tired, but i'm not... you know what i mean? and i'm really starting to freak myself out. Anyone know how to cure a sore throat? cause i'm runnin outa ideas, and medicine.

Mr. bang, may I call to your attention that the awakenedness you imply you have derived from the consumption of 2L of Mountain Dew is in fact entirely a placebo effect. Under the Food and Drug regulations of Canada, caffiene cannot be added to any soft drink in which caffiene is not already naturally-occuring. So, while Jolt Cola is equally potent on both sides of the 49th, no Mountain Dew sold in the province of Saskatchewan contains any more than a trace level of caffiene.

I'd like to see some snow too. Alas, our local mix of weather-ingredients usually consists of:

-rain
-more rain
-even more rain
-hail
-more hail
-even more hail
-wind
-more wind
-even more wind

Which sucks. I think it's been a decade since we've had a white christmas... sigh. Skiing holiday here I come!

Being a natural born Wisconsinite like Veers here, I can honestly say that I WANT SNOW DAMMIT!!!!!! Sense I'm in the crap hole known as Georgia right now, I'm probably not gonna get snow any time soon. *snif* I never learned how to snowboard!

Erm... How could Jolt "naturally" contain caffeine? Last time I checked, Jolt doesn't occur in nature...

Posted by Da_bang80 (Member # 528) on :

While MD may not have much caffiene, it does have quite a bit of sugar, and 2 litres of MD was enough to keep me awake.

Posted by Shik (Member # 343) on :

It snowed here today. Not a lot, but enough. I certainly called it this morning on my blog. Go me!

Posted by The_Tom (Member # 38) on :

Tim: Cola beverages naturally contain caffiene (ie Coke and Pepsi) and so it's legal under Canadian health standards to artificially pump up the caffiene count (ie Jolt). I imagine the same applies for Red Bull. MD, or 7up, or Sprite, anything like that doesn't naturally contain caffiene and so it's illegal to pump up the caffiene levels. It's an odd Health Canada loophole that I heard about on a CBC documentary. Apparently, Pepsi Canada is getting fed up about selling uncaffienated MD and is bitching to allow the juiced-up stuff onto the market.

Dr Pepper also contains caffine.

But is this true for just Canada, or the whole world? What does it mean???!!!!!

Is Red Bull also popular in Canada is a very nice but amazingly expensive mixer?
