You know *what*

The only question is *when*

Saturdays and Sundays are no good for me, same with Friday nights. I'm free all day Monday through Wednesday, and available after about 10:30 Thursdays. I'm assuming Battle.net?

Don't forget ol' Hobbsey...

Just get on ICQ and see if you see me. If I'm there, and it's after 10:00 EST, I can probably play. And crush your skull like a puny tin can. [Big Grin]

Fine by me, since Tahna will smash your skull into a puny tin can either right before or right after you crush mine [Smile]

If this about Starcraft, you just wait untill I get MY hands on the game. All of you WILL be conquered!!

Note to self: Track down MIB and injure.

Posted by MIB (Member # 426) on :

You can't track me down. For I am one of the infamous *pauses for effect* Men In Black. No records will show that I exist and yet I do. I am not completely in tune with your plane of reality. I am from another reality. Another plane of being. When I make a visitation on your plane of being, I exist and don't exist at the same time. I can disappear and reappear at will. And I have the capability to hypnotize you with ease.

I am a Man In Black. And yes, I am watching you......

Cool, I guess this means it'll be six way: Me, Tahna, Omega, Hobbes, and MIB and Charles will have their own 'private little war' ...

Posted by Shik (Member # 343) on :

Heh..."six-way action." Far out. There's money to be had there.

MIB? :::grabs crotch & shakes vigorously::: [SipowiczSpeak] Hypnotize DIS, you pissy little bitch. [/SipowiczSpeak]

I'll not only crush your head like a puny tin can, but I will also slap you around like a sissywhiny crying schoolgirl.

You guys may have to wait a while as I have to get a new HD. The one I have I intend to keep for Windows 2000 and other programming purposes. It'll be a while. After that I'll have ICQ back as well.

Erm... I don't see it.

"ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh! I love TA!"

Doesn't everyone?

Oh, wait. I thought there was an "and" in there. Nevermind.

It appears that my CD-Key for Starcraft may have been stolen somehow.

Using my crappy phone connection, I tried to log on to Battle.net to see if I could connect. I could not connect at all from the LAN at the college. I received the message stating that my CD-Key is invalid. I then uninstalled, then reinstalled my Starcraft. Same problem. Again a third time, same problem.

I've zipped out a letter to Battle.net Tech Support, but it appears that I am completely sunk.

Posted by Omega (Member # 91) on :

You haven't given anyone a pirate copy of your CD or anything? How COULD anyone steal your key, anyway?

Posted by Tahna Los (Member # 33) on :

I haven't been able to figure that out. I bought this copy in order to play on Battle.net. I don't want to buy another.

It is likely that someone may have come up with a hack to pry a CD-Key from someone, who, unfortunately, happens to be me. This probably happened when Battle.net was using the version 1.07, which appears to be a hackers delight. I was told that 1.08b was virtually hack-proof or something or other.

I don't have any reply from Blizzard yet, but a friend of mine who is an ex-Starcraft Player has loaned me his CD-Key for me to play on Battle.net. Trust me, he also owns his own copy as well, but no longer plays.

I'm going to try again later tonite. Anyone want to get their skull crushed can meet me at that time. Have plenty of bandages and first aid equipment ready.

What if we don't want to play as Terrans, Medics or no? [Smile]

Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :

I'm glad you specified a time, Tahna [Smile]

Sadly, I won't be available ... work, then off to play some billiards and drive around in my rental monster.

Besides, Omega'll get cut off from his resources again and quit in anger, so ...

Posted by Tahna Los (Member # 33) on :

Omega: Fine. Exoskeleton. [Wink]

Posted by Omega (Member # 91) on :

I won't get cut off from my resources, because Tahna knows better than to play on a sucky map. Who do you think introduced me to BGH, anyway? [Smile]

Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :

Then you should've booted MIB and continued to play me.

Posted by Tahna Los (Member # 33) on :

My major weakness is resources.

On a regular map, if I can secure at least 4 resource fields, I'll be fine. Otherwise, I'm toast. That's why BGH is my map of choice. No need to worry about lack of resources, and giving me the opportunity to concentrate on the conflict itself.

So where did everyone go? I waited until as late as 10pm for any players willing to get their skull crushed. Where was everybody?

Well, no one mentioned anything about a time frame to me, or I could've gotten in at about 10 ... went out to shoot some pool about 12:30 though, found a nice pool-hall up near where I am (I don't have to drive to Perring Parkway anymore! Yay!)

Anyone who wants to crush MY skull like a puny tin can may do so tonight at 8pm.

Snay, that means you too.

Posted by Omega (Member # 91) on :

Phrell, I won't be off work until 9:00 your time...

Posted by Tahna Los (Member # 33) on :

That's fine. I can invite others to crush my skull while I wait.

Enjoying your new job at the Library?

Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :

That's fine. Broodwar? Drat. This means I'll miss Boston Public. Oh well, it's an honor to be skull-smashed by Tahna.

Posted by Omega (Member # 91) on :

Well, thing is that I won't actually be able to get on until TEN your time. [Frown]

Job's good. Boring as heck, but it pays well. [Smile]

Wait, 8pm Tahna's time is 9pm EST?
