Well, that's it, chaps, another bachelor bites the dust. Saturday 4th May, 12pm, London Borough of Waltham Forest Registry Office (http://www.lbwf.gov.uk/community/marriages.stm). To my Kate, of course.

Then on to a local Tapas bar (well, I was buggered if I was going to go to some country club to have it, and then sit down to a silver-service meal served by Saturday-job schoolgirls in their black skirts; crunchy mixed veg, fucking new potatoes etc.), followed by a big party in the evening. Hopefully with Liam and MaGiC showing up; other members (albeit ex-ones) of the Flare UK contingent like Monty and Orion unfortunately had other commitments.

Then, off to Mexico on honeymoon! (http://www.cameleonmarival.com/cameleon/english/main.htm).

Wish us luck. See you in a couple of weeks.

Congratulations! That's fantastic!

It's October for me. We're off to the islands of Lanai and Maui in Hawaii for our honeymoon.

Well, that's that then. Our Lee is all grown up now. Next he'll be taking his old toys out of the garage and telling us we can finally redecorate his room. Alas.

Omedeto.

Haha! I now understand TSN's sig.

It is because of the picture of your wife dressed very silly!

Also, do not be set on fire by the altar candles.

Also, Also, at 12pm May 04, I will be rototilling my Grandmother's Flowerbeds. So, Lee won't be the only one plowing a Lady's bushes. Ha.

Congratulations, Lee! Have lots of fun on the honeymoon! [Smile]

I will warn you that a lot of the coastal towns in Mexico are likely to be flooded with high school and college students. This is about the time for early summer vacations and senior class trips. So watch out for the lot of them.

Congrats!

Oh, great. I go to Mexico during Spring Break. Mmm. . . Girls Gone Wild. . .

Thank you all. I'm in the middle of a brief lull, had to pop online to do my timesheet from last week (forgot). It's been really great and we've all had a good time. Kate looks completely beautiful. I may post some pics when I get them, in a few weeks.

See you on the flipside!

Lee: Not quite as bad as spring break. Spring break was a couple months ago. This is the end of the semester and the beginning of summer.

Congrats Vogon, so how was the bachelorette party?

Posted by MaGiC (Member # 59) on :

Went to evening party thingy - curse U Liam!! I'm glad I took a friend. Didn't stay late as it was mainly family. Bride was suitably pretty. Dress was great, not a hint of tasteless meringue to be seen. Lee had that ever so slightly dazed look that you get after being hit on the head with a large brick... I'm sure it will wear off eventually.

That was the bachelorette party? No wild women drinking to blazing music while the male strippers danced to their whims?

"Lee had that ever so slightly dazed look that you get after being hit on the head with a large brick... I'm sure it will wear off eventually."

So it was actually Tweety he married then?

I am cursing myself. I got to stay in Liverpool and rejoice doing bugger all apart from talking my mum through how to reinstall Office. The joy. Yes.

Congrats again, old chap!

How strange . . . my earlier post has not appeared . . . Postie! Here Postie! [Big Grin]

Anyway, to repeat what was typed in my original post:

Congratulations Yogon! Hope the wedding goes as planned and that my slice of the cake arrives with the mail (special delivery) soon! [Wink] Have fun and congrats!

Say, are we gonna get to see some wedding and honeymoon pics when ya get back?

Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :

Why the hell would Lee know what happened at the bachlorette party? The groom usually isn't invited to those!

Do you mean the bachelor party? I'm sure Lee played Star Trek trivia. Yes, Star Trek trivia.

Posted by TSN (Member # 31) on :

"Yogon"?

Congratulations, Lee! I wanna see wedding pictures!!!

Posted by Vogon Poet (Member # 393) on :

Phew. I think Claire characterised the evening party pretty accurately, it was a bit difficult trying to talk to everyone, giving them equal attention as it were.

Mexico was actually very nice, hardly any Americans at all. Lots of Canadians, it seems the hotel we chose is aimed more towards them. Only bummer was the sudden influx of Mexicans on weekend breaks, with hundreds of kids. And, while the drinks were free, they were watered down (telling moment - bartender gets the vodka out of the freezer, and it's frozen!).

Late but heartfelt congrats, Lee! I hope you will always have a great time together.

I better not comment on that. [Wink]
