There's now an official Funniest Joke Ever. But the problem is... it isn't very funny. If I have to choose, I'd go for the Scottish favorite:

You can see Germans will laugh about anything when you tune into their "comedy" shows . The good thing is, we don't have to listen to Rudi Carell anymore I'm sure one of you Americans can make some witty remark on the Canadians.

Well, in the newspaper report I read of this, there was a favourite United Kingdom joke, but also favourite England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland jokes.
And I like what they said about jokes involving duvks, because it was the favourite Belgian joke that gave me and my wife the biggest laugh:

See, that's funny. So is the top joke in England. The overall top joke, though, is not particularly funny.
Anyway, it has to be said:
"Wenn ist das Nunstruck git und Slotermeyer? Ja! ... Beiherhund das Oder die Flipperwaldt gersput!"
And, of course:
"Der ver zwei peanuts, valking down der strasse, and von vas... assaulted! peanut. Ho-ho-ho-ho."
