I was watching the images of the Space Shuttle breaking up in the atmosphere and a memory crept out from the depths... wasn't there a prophecy or prediction about some sort of 'thing' in the 'heavens' returning to Earth in a blaze of fire?? Didn't we all think that it was Mir at the time? When it was burnt up in Earth's atmosphere??
Again wasn't this one of those 'end times' prophecies??

If anyone makes any sort of prophecy, something like is bound to come true at some point in time. I will make a prediction: there will be another space accident in the next 17 years.

I don't know if it is true or not, but I remember people here discussing it in a thread - and that that 'prophecy' was chalked down to it being Mir that was the 'house in the sky' or something that would return to earth in a shower of starts. Or something like that. True you can make a vague prediction about anything.

If you're thinking Revelation endtime kinda stuff, I don't think this could qualify as anything. It'd have to make a third of the fresh water on Earth undrinkable, or turn the oceans to blood or something.
