W00t! Bring out da beardz, bring out da funk...erm, again.

 -

Dreamy, n'est pas? But remember how last time it was pretty much just three dorky dudes (one with a cute gf) sitting around eating pie? I need to believe we can do better than that. If we went to Hooters would more people come?

I'm just going to put forward 2 dates that work for me: the evening of Thu 23 Dec or Sun 26 Dec? Oh ye who maye be interested, poste here.

Y'know, razors really are very reasonably priced, nowadays.

Posted by Topher (Member # 71) on :

So thats Balaam, Charles, and Jonah?

Posted by Balaam Xumucane (Member # 419) on :

In all of our bearded (and sub-bearded) glory!

Posted by LOA (Member # 49) on :

I will not be in attendance, most likely. Even though I LOVE Hooters and that's REALLY tempting.

I just can't justify the risk of taking my car over the pass. Not after just finally getting it fixed.

Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :

So you've now got a car that you can't actually drive to places?

Charles, seriously - lose the beard.

Posted by Topher (Member # 71) on :

He could keep the cool-ass mustacio, though.

Posted by Fleet-Admiral Michael T. Colorge (Member # 144) on :

Ah... no. Lose the facial hair. I wonder how many Flare members are in Southern California though...

I am confused as to the current definition of "cool-ass" in Canada.

"Y'know, razors really are very reasonably priced, nowadays."

As are scythes. And chainsaws.

And salmon. Now cod is expensive instead.

Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :

Can you buy cod in hairdressers?

Posted by Topher (Member # 71) on :

Oh, oops, I forgot the [sarcasm][/sarcasm] tags. [Roll Eyes]

Posted by Harry (Member # 265) on :

Their faces are like the three stages this meeting went through. From left to right we have utter confusion, plain indifference and drunken happiness.

Posted by Balaam Xumucane (Member # 419) on :

*crickets*

Erm, so due to the overwhelming and enthusiastic response for meeting up this year I've gone ahead and booked Qwest Field & Event Center for our gathering.

Seriously. It doesn't have to be Hooters. I was just saying that in hopes that we could lure Liz out of hiding (and gaze upon her preposterous car audio with envy and disdain). Zeek's is fine. Or not. I'm getting not.

Posted by LOA (Member # 49) on :

I wanna be there!!! And I got my car back yeterday, so I could even drive it... but alas, at this point, it's not in the program. I'll be in Seattle the weekend of Jan 7th though, I think.... that's the plan right now, at least :-)

As I said before though, I'll at least be there in Spirit. In fact, one of y'all should bring a cell with speakerphone... then I can call and talk to you all while you try to eat... Ask Charles - it's a VERY interesting thing when I get going [Wink] Fun times for all!!

HOOTERS!!!

"y'all".

Posted by Lee (Member # 393) on :

How quaint.

Posted by LOA (Member # 49) on :

Don't mock me.

I'm cute when I say "y'all" and everyone knows it. [Razz]

Posted by Nim' (Member # 205) on :

Yes, you're indeed playing your cards right. Too right, if you ask me. Something's up.

Posted by Cartman (Member # 256) on :

YA UR BOENR HAHA LOL

Hey, now. I say "y'all" all the time. Why don't I get the ribbing? Is it because I don't have a set of tits? Well, guess what, bucko! I do! So there y'all go!

Posted by Cartman (Member # 256) on :

You don't say something like that without backing it up, Texan. Show us the collateral.

Posted by Lee (Member # 393) on :

And just in time for the next Superbowl, too!

Posted by Nim' (Member # 205) on :

Cart-man: "YA UR BOENR HAHA LOL"

I meant with the impending Amazon World Order. I think it's getting ready to pounce, and is signalling all its sleeper-agent sisters to "keep the pigs occupied".

They will do it sooner or later, they don't need us to open pickle jars or reach for high shelves anymore... *sniph*

Charles is looking almost dignified with that mountain goat like beard. Very impressive.

Of course I'd love to make it to the aforementioned meeting, but the highway from Eastern Australia to Western USA is still under construction.

We're still having problems with sinking the main pylons in Melbourne harbour, apparently the crust diggers are killing too many endangered water roos. How are things going at the American end?

Dude, are you telling me that you want to see my chest?

There's several jokes I could make, but they all made a rush for the exit at the same time and are presently jammed together. I'll make a witty remark later then.

Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :

Well, we had that "guess the person from the baby" photo a while back (I've just realised it was about 5 years, which makes me feel older than Jesus' dead granddad), so we could always have a "guess the person from the chest" compo.

Posted by Cartman (Member # 256) on :

"Dude, are you telling me that you want to see my chest?"

Quid pro quo, punk. No chest pics, no ribbings, capiche?

"They will do it sooner or later, they don't need us to open pickle jars or reach for high shelves anymore..."

They need us still to maintain their own Order. Sniph not.

Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :

And don't forget, they still need us to open jars and get things off of high shelves.

No chest pictures; no ribbing. Somehow, I very much doubt that LOA supplied the chest pictures in order to be ribbed.

Posted by LOA (Member # 49) on :

But I can!!

Posted by Siegfried (Member # 29) on :

But you won't. You just like to tease the guys. [Razz]

Posted by LOA (Member # 49) on :

*shrug* Maybe, maybe not... never underestimate the power of the LOA [Wink]

Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :

I am underestimating it right now. I am.

So, uh, at first I didn't want to post anything because I was working constantly and felt guilty, and then that job suddenly disappeared and while I am much happier I still didn't want to post anything because my schedule was a mess and I felt guilty.

Ahhh-

I'm actually, right now, IN the pacific Northwest and have, just now, through the creative use of firewire gained net access.

I'll be around till the 4th and could show up for a period of time consistent with my time spent here - which relative to some of you folks would be what, picoseconds? I don't have any facial hair though....

Posted by LOA (Member # 49) on :

Neither do I

See, now, the normal reaction to losing a job is unhappiness.

Unless it was that undertaker thing. That was creepy.

No, it was working at the fruit-packing warehouse.

And I guess I didn't so much lose it as we finished.

Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :

Was there no more fruit to be packed?

Posted by LOA (Member # 49) on :

I live with fruit, and they're always packing things... fudge, mostly..... *rimshot*

Oh, I love my gay roommates..... [Razz]
