My guess is it's staged- that or the driver shoud sue. That's the slowest airbag deployment of all time. Even the old "Jiffy Pop Airbag" skit from SNL was faster.

Ha Ha Ha, serves him right. That probably hurt alot. even if it was fake. My mechanics instructor gave us a demo of how powerful airbags can be. Basically he just set on off in the parking lot. And damn did it fly! at least 4 stories high.

I was given to understand that while having many of the qualities of balloons, airbags remained attached to whatever deployed them. I mean without soaring 4 stories.
