I was having a problem with the Homesick Campaign and read a thread which said how the fix the problem by opening the program with Wordpad. I mistakenly opened the .vp files with notepad and this corrupted all the vp. files rendering the game unplayable. Yet now it seems to now have has an effect on Turey's Open Installer as now I can't even reinstall the game. I need help! Posted by Saltah'na (Member # 33) on :
Erm, I don't use Turey's installer. And do what Turey says, that is redownload the VP files. Failing that, you may want to save your data folders and uninstall the entire game and reinstall with or without the installer. I usually opt for the latter, but only because I actually have a copy of the original game.
