Digest this story of communist dictatorship!

Xinhua is the same losers that fell for that obviously staged tiger poster "prowling" anomg the bamboo....did wonders for local tourism.
They refused to retract their story even after the poster was found and the hoaxer confessed.

Gotta save face, after all.

Maybe we should chock it up to China's high confidence in their astronauts- after all, a speach was made for the President to announce the tragc deaths of the Apollo astronauts if the moon landing went badly.

By the way, I just discovered that if you horribly mistype "astronauts", you get "Arsonauts".
I want to be on that super-hero team, baby!
"We torched the building, but got that prowler...got him crispy!"
We can be Jason and the Arsonauts- we'd all drive around in a van with "Argo" airbrushed on the side, boldly torching buildings across the country- Reverend can be Hercules and you, dan, can be that guy with the harp that supposedly can sing really good but cant and everyone wants to chuck him out of the van but no one says so and assumes that everyone else wants him to be there.

Nonononono. Arsonauts sail on the good ship Arson.

It's like a Viking funeral.

I guess so, it's just making it waaaay too easy for the police if you have "Arson" airbrushed on the side of your van.

OTOH, most police cars have "Police" clearly stenciled on the side, so I suppose it's only fair.
Kinda like a team logo in that regard.

Besides, having "Arson" on the van would lend to an eventual (some might say inevitible) insanity defense.

You can be our Medea- so get ready with the spells if we get chased.

Omega can be Bellerophon.

Am I the only one who immediately read "arsonaut" as if it derived from "arse-onaut"?

Aw. Can't I be the guy with the really bitchin' eyes that can see the stars even through clouds and daylight?

Yes, TSN. [Smile]

Well, every ship has someone like you, so it's allright- you can be Heracles' "special friend" Hylas.

And no Dan, you get the harp. As a consolation prize, you can ride shotgun and pump the gas.

Yeah, trying to weasel me into being your map-reader and navigator so when we get lost you can blame it on me. I see what you did there.

Dang if I didn't miss the boat again. That must make me the official "Red Shirt" of the crew.
