That bumper can't possibly be legal.

That sense of aesthetics and taste probably shouldn't be.

I wonder how long it will be until someone decides to burn that ugly thing.

Hopefully soon.

We need to extend Cash for Clunkers even further...

My dad foolishly showed me a pic about "Gramps for Cash" program, modeled on the C4C deal...

He's ok. He's not that dumb yet...

Oh god, what an unfortunate choice of words...

I'd also like to chime in with a witty anime-related comment, but the only anime I've ever watched was Naussicca, Akira, and Princess Mononoke. And that's only because we have one TV at the lake and the sister doesn't like Star Wars.

And in most places in the world that front bumper would get that van towed.

I wonder if even tow trucks can reach underneath that thing. I'm pretty sure that they simply can't just hook the bumper.

The days of towing a vehicle with a tow hook are long past, nowadays they use a wheel lift and pick the vehicle up that way. For this particular eyesore a flatbed truck would be used, that is if the tow truck driver cared about not causing damage to it. I've seen a few tow truck driver who are less than careful in how they manhandle someones vehicle.

I'm aware of the wheel lift, but I don't think a wheel lift can extend that far.... And lifting using the back wheels will only snap off that front bumper like a toothpick.

So yes, I agree, Flatbed Truck.

Vans like that are all the rage in Japan. And they might tow it with one of these

That thing is awesome. I wonder if I can get one based on the ZX-14...

Personally I prefer flat-bed tow trucks. Actually I require them since my car is AWD and having only the front lifted aint a good idea.
