I love a good W slamming. During the election I heard alot about how Gore was trying to steal the election. I'm not denying that this is a possibility, but I also wonder if Gore was simply trying to steal the election BACK from G.W.

If the best that can be dug up is a "UFO Sightings" page, I feel sorry for the poor schmoe who takes this as gospel.
Besides, I thought we WANTED every vote to count, whether 'dubious' or not... at least, that's what the Gore supporters were saying when they thought they could WIN by counting the 'iffy' votes... funny how some things come back to haunt you.
Bad POSTMARKS? Is that the VOTER'S fault? Why penalize them for that?

You might also be interested in knowing that both Federal and Florida election law REQUIRED all those votes to be counted, because of the long-standing known difficulties in getting overseas ballots.
So this "The Bush team pushed really hard to get these ballots counted" REALLY translates as: "The Bush team pushed really hard to make sure the election laws were followed!"
