How on earth did they get a "transcript" of a private meeting... without a bug of some kind?

Maybe the same way the Gore campaign got that debate prep material ... someone realized that the Republican in question is a corporate brown-noser more concerned with their pocket book then the people they were elected to represent and needs to be removed, and sent the transcript on.

Just a theory.

a stupid theory.

Keep an eye on Snay, next he'll be blaming things on the Loch Ness Monster.

"Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable."

Or obsessed librarians who on one hand claims to believe in accepting personal repsonsibility for one's life; and on the other blames the local government for his tiny paycheck, right?

You must have missed it eight months ago when I secured a new university job, at a much better salary.

Typical Snaywork, always ignoring inconvenient facts.

In the "recent post" box I read this as "Harkonnen-gate," and was expecting something much more...well, more.

No, Rob, I didn't miss it. But I did notice your attitude pre-new job. PS: welcome to the "liberal biased" university system.

I don't believe you. I think you're covering up your failure to remember. Otherwise you would have used the past tense in your original post.

In any case, it was an "attack the messenger" smokescreen designed to avoid discussing the facts of the case.

In fact, it seems to be what you're doing in every thread.

Toothless, clawless kitten!

Okay Rob, you win on the tense*, but I win on my theory. Thanks for playing.

You're clawless, too? I'll remember that.

*nevermind that I used the plural for librarians ... but, hey ...

Isn't politics fun?

Well, when it is of the "let's try to sort out this wacky world" type, sure. But I think the First of Snay Show is starting to get a bit creaky.

What exactly is a "press operation?"

Sounds like the Committee to Re-Elect The President, circa the latter part of the Nixon administration.

How did this "member" get the transcript?
