That is indeed the case. You can't give your location nor unit, tho name isn't necessarily a no-no. However, LT Smash doesn't do any of that, so No Harm, No Foul.
I definitely feel for the guy, as I've experienced almost every one of the situations that he references, tho not the whole removal of the blouse inside thing. While on one deployment, tho, we did have a couple VIP's come thru and were required to wear ours - in the 110+ F degree heat! Talk about military beauracratic BS in action.... Tragically, yes. Especially among the (disturbingly large) number of Americans who seem to believe that the US is perfect and always right. Just look at this guy's rather interesting version of the American war of independance. And his interesting statement that the Constitution created "the United States of America that we know today." Completely ignoring the huge and radical changes that the Civil War and the various amendments have made.

Er... no. Freedome Fries is a joke. No one takes it seriously.
And... no. You can't just bring up every little thing that happened between 1776 and today to describe what makes the US the US. Yes, you can bring up the Civil War and such but that sours what the fellow troop is trying to say.
