I may be chinese, but this is priceless. The cultural preference for sons has finally taken its toll.

But my co-worker tells me to watch out: when those chinese men become sexually frustrated and horny bastards, they may well start a war against the west: over women!!!!

I guess some people will do anything to get laid.

While I wasn't particularly interested in the article, the one about China's new fighter piqued my interest. Looks very similar to the EuroFighter 2000. Almost too similar...

You mean the Typhoon. It hasn't been called the "2000" since, well, 2000.

Besides that, it's not like the canard-delta configuration is a closely guarded secret (with the Rafale, Viggen/Gripen, 1.4x MFI, and Lavi also having one), and since the design program started in the eighties when roughly everybody except the ATF competitors was building a fighter around it...

Typhoon, that's the name. I couldn't remember for the life of me what it was, so I just used the name that I remembered.

I am pretty sure this will have an effect on their economy.

There are reports that Chinese Men are kidnapping chinese women to serve as slaves and wives to them. Some families with a daughter are taking advantage of this by performing bidding wars for families with a son for an arranged marriage at a price. Reports of rape have increased lately in other news articles.

It's not that I wasn't expecting it, I was, for a long time, but the surprise is how BAD it is, in some areas, there is a male surplus of up to 30% in some areas.

See, that's what my friends and I concluded when we had this conversation last year. Either they're going to kidnap women from other countries or start lovin' on each other.

So that's the real reason why China & the US merged in Firefly. They wanted our wimminz.

This guy, or this guy?

I don't think there was enough of Wan Hu left to get much attention. Unless you count the scavengers picking at what was left.
