Of course he'll say that. He can't say "It was a bad plan from the start and it's now a miserable failure".

That first paragraph there is pretty much all you really need to say.

"...meeting Iraqi leaders as part of a Senate Armed Services Committee fact-finding mission."

Do they actually find facts during these missions?

YOu know what is worse, the War On Terror, is actually a police action. Just like Vietnam, and Korea. Maybe if we declared war on well, terrorism, or Iraqi insurgents, or hell, even Alquida or the taliban. Maybe that will gain support. Not that I am crazy about the whole thing, but things must be done.

Eh...You realize you can never, ever, ever stop terrorism, right? It's pointless to try. Shooting people with guns will never stop some people from blowing themselves and/or innocent bystanders the hell up. The best weapon is people actually, you know, tolerating each other and so on. Yeah, like that'll ever happen...

THat I understand. I was suggesting to take this "war" on terrorism, and actually make it a war. legally declare war on the parties responsible. EVen better, if congress, or any other country's ruling body decides not to declare war, then you dont fight. No more police actions. Just my thoughts...

You mean, like how they found WMDs?

Posted by Sean (Member # 2010) on :

Exactly. It is simple actually. They think that their facts have run off to Iraq, and they need to find them.

The WMDs were there, after the US arrived and start bombing people.

The fact is that they live in their own reality, in which they have zero concern for the stupidity of their actions and the consequences that they have on all the petty peons in the world. They don't mind because we don't matter to them.

Us worthless peons...

Posted by Ritten (Member # 417) on :

We only matter when it is time to vote.

No we don't.

Its a conspiracy...

It's nothing so grandiose as a 'conspiracy' in my opinion. It's just that the only people who ever make it to high office are *already* rich and powerful, and all the rich and powerful people in the country get together every so often to schmooze ... and one wonders what they talk about, you know?

Posted by Sean (Member # 2010) on :

At the rich person anual schmooze...

GATES- I make money when I sleep
SPitzer- Do you want to spot me a few K? I have a date later...
BUSH- THe American people have misunderestimated...shit....inunderestimated....
fuck...typing....www.dictionary.com...Ah, underestimated.... Ehem,Ehem... The American people have underestimated my ability to deal with the Al-quiaedia...oh shit...
Obama- No no no! God damn it, it's OBAMA, not OSAMA. *Retards*...
