And why?

Speaking for myself, "Emissary's Trial" sounds good. To me. But what about you?

I would call it "The Episode where DS9 blows up"

Because I feel that the station should be destroyed in the finale.

Maybe we should see the episode first...we kind of need to know what happens to title it.

"Walking with the Prophets" because I suspect Sisko will be walking with the prophets by the end of the episode.

or

"All Great things..." for obvious reasons.

- "All or Nothing"

Not-so-Serious:

Well IMHO the final episode should be titled 'Those Damn Replicators'.

The story should revolve around how the Dominion have comprimised all Federation replicators...and all they now get is Curry.

Sisko: Tomato Soup

Computer: Unavailable.

Sisko: Leek Soup

Computer: Unavailable.

Sisko: WTF is avaiable!

Computer: Lemon Curry.

"March into Carthage" and "The Seventh Hill" have nice significance but don't really fit with the themes of the show do they?

What about something like:

"The End of Destiny"

The show has been about Sisko's destiny as the emissary and the destiny of Bajor and all the Alpha Quadrant and IMHO that title suggests the uncertainty of what lies beyond the final chapter. Just a suggestion.

Serious:
- '... Must Come to an End'

A little serious:
- 'Homerun'
- 'The 7 Years of Hell'

Not serious:
- 'Computer... End Program'
- 'He's Dead Jim'

Well, I chose those names on the idea that they imply the end of an empire.

I don't know about DS9, but the Voyager finale will have to be called All Bad Things (must come to an end too).

The DS9 title could have an Armageddon thing to it although they'll have to be careful not to infringe any copyright laws.

Sol: I caught the references there but I didn't think that the writers would want to imply (or that you would, necessarily) that the Federation was an empire in the sense of Rome or Carthage. Of course in the first title at least the Federation can be portrayed as the conquerors defeating the "evil" empire. But even that I'm not sure about. I like the significance but wondered about the appropiateness.

I was naming the episode from the Dominion point of view, actually. Seemed like an interesting switch as far as episode titles go.

I like "Fin de Siecle" but...

I like Vorlon's
"The End of the Beginning, pt 1"
"The Beginning of the End, pt 2"

or

"The Beginning of the End pt 1" and "The End of the Beginning, pt 2"
(oh so confusing)
Also "...Must Come to an End" is a sort of continuity for the both TNG and DS9 trek series.
