1: Weyoun is killed (again ).
2: Odo is really suffering from the disease now.
3: Worf challenges Gowron to a fight to the death... and wins...
4: Kira and Garak teach Damar how to found a resistance movement against the Dominion.
5: New Defiant arrives at DS9 (in the episode before the final).
6: Worf goes back to the Enterprise because Ezri is in love with Julian, this results in the arrival of the Enterpise at DS9, and the Enterprise even joins a battle (or maybe even THE final battle).

I'd suspect that if Worf and Gowron ever fight, it will be for the leadership and respect of the council or something.
